About LongPun Enterprise
Located
at No.84, Mandai Estate, in Singapore, Long Pun Enterprise
Pte. Ltd. was incorporated in 1982. Through years of
innovative improvement and uncompromising quality control
the company has undergone pace of changes. Today, it
is a well established leading manufacturer of high quality
plastic spacer, plastic injection products and precision
mould fabricator for the building industry. In 1996,
LPE attained its ISO 9001 certification for plastic
spacers.
“History
of LongPun”
Managing
Director, Mr.H.S. Ong had been in the building industry
for years, has gained hands on knowledge and experiences
in this field. In 1982, the building industry in Singapore
was hit by both recession and labour shortage. Mr. Ong
realized the need for the industry to cut cost and improve
productivity. Through discussion with his peers he ventured
into plastic spacer manufacturing.
“Our
Growth”
Long
Pun has grown from a monthly sales of 50,000 pieces
to over a billion pieces. Our market has also grown
from supplying only locally to such market as Malaysia,
Hongkong, Brunei, Philippines, Europe and U.S.A. Currently,
besides our plant in Singapore we have manufacturing
facilities in China and Malaysia and sales office in
Klang, Malaysia and Hongkong. In 1993 due to the constant
requirement of designing new model and increase output
capacity which require new mould, we set up a factory
in China specialized in mould engineering with in-house
Precision Tooling Department well equip with 3D CAD/CAM,
CNC Machine Centre, CNC Milling, CNC Wire-cut, CNC EDM
... tool die.
Our
Product Development - Bearing the construction market's
needs in mind, Long Pun Enterprise Pte. Ltd. focused
its products development and production in that direction.
In 1985, Long Pun Enterprise's first twin babies, the
mesh spacer and the wheel spacer were born. The special
features of the twin babies were :
- Mesh Spacer
- A product to increase the stability of the spacer.
- Wheel Spacer
- A wheel like spacer that provides the perfect cover needed
regardless of which way the spacer is turn.
The above new borns gained high recognition
from the building and construction industry, as well
as the Housing & Development Board of Singapore
(HDB). LPE was determined to cater positively and responsively
to the dynamic market. In 1988, plastic spacers were
introduced to factories that fabricate precast concrete
products. In 1990, many new products were introduced
in the Building Industries
- Produced
to boost quality control and efficiency in the construction
industry.
- Galvanised
Tie Wire - both in coil form and cut to size. Long Pun
Enterprise was the first in this industry to introduce and
supply cut to size wire to reduce wastages.

Of Plastic Accessories for use in various parts of building.

400 tons & silkscreen, we diversified into the field
of precision mould fabrication, injection moulding &

Manufacturing) to one of the international babycare
company in UK who enjoy worldwide reputation for quality,
innovation and services.
